Ronald G. Hayman, 69, passed away on July 15, 2017, at home in Houston, Texas. He was born on October 7, 1947 in Galveston, Texas to George Hayman and Emily Hayman.

Ron grew up in Galveston, Texas and graduated from Ball High School in 1966. After high school he attended the University of Texas in Austin, before starting his career in retail sales and management. He worked for Jeans West of the Edison Corporation as a store manager for 20 years, over which time he received numerous professional awards.

Ron began his relationship with his partner in 1978 in Houston Texas. They were happily together for 39 years. He enjoyed his family, dogs and his home.

Ron is survived by his spouse Bill of Houston, Texas his sister Sherie Gonzales, several nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and great nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his father George Hayman and mother Emily Hayman as well as his brothers John Fabian, George Fabian and sister La Rue Wilson.

A funeral service will be held at Distinctive Life Funerals, 5455 Dashwood St. suite 100, Bellaire, TX 77401 at 11:00 AM on July 22, 2017.

Memorial donations may be made in honor of Ron to the charity of your choice.

  1. Ronnie was one of the good guys. I posted the notice of his death in the Ball High class of 1966 Facebook page. Every comment of sadness included words of what a kind and nice and good and smart person he was, and handsome, too! Most of us have not seen him in over 50 years, but he is recalled with a smile and good memories. I am so sorry for your loss. I know he never changed.

  2. Bill, I graduated with Ron in 1966 from BHS. He was always such a kind, intelligent, and handsome young gentleman. My since condolences to you and other members of his family. I was so pleased to see that he had a happy and loved life as evidenced in the picture here. Wishing you comfort with your sorrow and Sweet Dreams to Ron.
