David O. Haude, 79, passed away on September 28, 2017. He was born October 9, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Harry and Charline (Ogden) Haude.
Dave graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and served in the U.S. Navy in the late 1950’s. He began his career working for IBM and other office machine companies before turning his passion for golf into a business (Haude’s Service Company), making and repairing custom golf clubs for his clients.
Dave was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Judy; sisters-in-law, Carol Mealy and Ruth Haude; nephew, John Mealy; and niece, Robin Sullivan. He
is survived by his children, Julie (Rob) Chaffin of Clinton, Ohio; Eric (Jessica) Haude of Marshfield, Missouri, and Kristina (Steve) Olivares of Houston,
Texas; grandchildren, Deseree, Samantha, Erica, Symone, Alyssa, Olivia, Desiree, Antonio, and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Summer, Emma, and Cai;
brothers, Dick Haude of North Canton, Ohio and Stan (Caroline) Haude of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister, Julie (David) Flieger of Tucson, Arizona; brother-in-law,
Bob Mealy of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; many nieces and nephews.
Inurnment and military honors will be held at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038 on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimers Association, in memory of Dave.
