Frank Allan Bryant (Allan), age 78, passed away on June 28, 2018, 2018 in Spring, Texas. He was born in Baytown Texas on December 31, 1939 to Dewey and Frank Albert Bryant. After graduating from Stephen F. Austin High School in Houston, Texas, he obtained a Bachelor of Science from University of Texas, Austin in Structural Engineering and then a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from University of Houston.
He began his engineering career with NASA, and then moved on to Cameron Iron. He then began working for the Offshore Company to gain experience in the oil exploration industry. In the 1970s, he started his own consulting company, Bryant Engineering. He loved his work, which took him on many adventures around the world. His focus was on analysis of mechanical devices associated with oil exploration. He will be remembered for his dry sense of humor and all the pranks he pulled on his friends and family.
Allan is survived by his wife, Mabel; son James; son Wesley and wife Laura; stepson Brian Yee; daughter Elizabeth; and grandchildren Jason, Hannah, and Samuel.
He was blessed with many friends who gave him much support, by visiting and praying for him during his illness. The family is grateful for the outpouring of support during this time.
